Aleks Paunovic is a television and film actor. He began his acting career in the 1994 television movie Heads. Since then, he has appeared in nearly 20 television movies, including Roswell: The Aliens Attack (1999), Children of My Heart (2000), Christmas Rush (2002), Chasing Christmas (2005), and Zapped (2014).

Some of his notable television roles included Marine Sgt. Omar Fisher on Battlestar Galactica from 2005-2007, Gustus on The 100 from 2014-2015, Julien Dupont on iZombie in 2015, Breachman Boscovic on Snowpiercer in 2020-2021, Julius on Van Helsing from 2016-2021, and Ivan on Hawkeye in 2021.

Apart from television, he also has a successful big-screen career. Paunovic made his film debut in the 2000 sci-fi action film Nostradamus, portraying the role of Male Mabus. He then played Bob in the 2002 film I Spy and Sacco in the 2004 film Seven Times Lucky. In the 2000s, he also appeared in Zero Hour (2007), Taming Tammy (2007), Heart of a Dragon (2008), Personal Effects (2009), and Transparency (2010). 

In the 2010s, Paunovic notably appeared in films including This Means War (2012) as Karate Dad, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) as Cyclops, Vendetta (2015) as Griffin Abbott, Numb (2015) as Lee, War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) as Winter, and Puppet Killer (2019) as Jamie. 

His most recent film credits included Zero Contact (2021) and Crimson Point (2021). Paunovic will be appearing in six upcoming films, including Sheltering SeasonThe Legend of Johnny Jones, and Final Invasion.

In addition to acting, Paunovic served as a stunt actor for several television movies such as Acceptable Risk (2001), Framed (2002), and Riverworld (2010). He also did stunt doubles in the 2002 video Wishmaster 4: The Prophecy Fulfilled and the 2007 film The Messengers. Furthermore, he has been an executive/associate producer for the films and short films like The Brute (2008), The Hostage (2010), Numb (2015), Ganjy (2016), The Shipment (2018), and The Sinners (2020).  Additionally, he was the associate producer of the television series Gotta Grudge? (2010) and the producer of the 2019 film Puppet Killer.
